INSTA*LOVE :: Tom Windeknecht :: @tomwindeknecht

Super excited, our INSTA*LOVE series is featuring the uber talented, inspiring, pink-sky-creating, Tom Windeknecht :: @tomwindeknecht ! Probably one of the nicest guys on Instagram and one of the prettiest feeds too! I know… I clearly have a thing for neon and pastel but how could you not when you come across these awesome photographs?! Where do you live? I live in historical Redlands, California. It's a great little town between Los Angeles and Palm Springs.  What do you love/love to do? I love photography, Instagram, coffee, art museums, ice cream and Asian food (but not necessarily in that order). I also love traveling with my wife, Laurie, and experiencing new places. What inspires you? I am inspired by so many things: nature, colors, art, architecture, old signs, history, etc. I am also inspired by other photographers and artists and how they see with their eyes. That's one of the  things that I love about being on Instagram - there ar...

INSTA*LOVE :: Susie Foulerton Walker :: @rose_tinted_glasses

Seriously over the moon excited to feature another one of my very favorite Instagram talents in our INSTA*LOVE series: Susie Foulerton Walker :: @rose_tinted_glasses ! Her feed is incredibly beautiful, from soft pastels to bright, neon pops of color. I'm totally obsessed! Where do you live? Sheffield, UK. It’s a city in south Yorkshire and is full of character, and characters. What do you love/love to do? I do brand development for a group of rum bars. I am a bit of a cocktail geek and love exploring different types of cuisine. I also love being outdoors; Sheffield is a great place to live for that as the beautiful peak district is a stone’s through away. But to be honest I love exploring the countryside and cities just the same. What inspires you? I am lucky enough to be surrounded by people who do what they love and most of them do it for a living. It’s just a kind, creative energy and drive that I see in my friends and family that propels me forward I thin...

Root Beer Float Popsicles

What's better than root beer floats?! Root beer float popsicles, of course! We're on a roll over here making popsicles left and right! Since I've posted two healthy popsicle recipes, I think it's time for something a little sweeter and these babies are certainly sweet! They're also the easiest popsicles on the planet to make! Ingredients A bottle of your favorite root beer A pint of your favorite vanilla ice cream (I used my lightest, fluffiest vanilla ice cream ever!) Instructions Place root beer in the freezer for 5-10 minutes so it doesn't melt the ice cream too quickly. Pour root beer into molds about 1/3 full. Layer spoonfuls of ice cream with more root beer until the molds are full. Mix it all up a bit: It's gonna get foamy! Place lid on mold and insert the sticks. Now, they're going to bounce right back up at you so I just tape them down in place with scotch tape. I've also read that if you boil the sticks in water for 30 min ...

INSTA*LOVE :: Cynthia Hernandez :: @hernandez_c

So excited, our INSTA*LOVE series gets to feature an artist with a really cool feed :: Cynthia Hernandez ::  @hernandez_c ! Her architectural shots are seriously stunning and I love her crisp, blue sky backdrops. There's just something about that minimalistic vibe and she really captures it. Where do you live? I live in Stamford, Connecticut What do you love/love to do? I love the outdoors, great architecture, animals and design!  What inspires you? My first instagram influences of minimal art was through @mattcrump . I never saw candy color art before and was inspired to start my own journey but with the color blue! I found blue to be very calming and a much more natural color for my backdrops. In terms of subject, I wasn't sure what to shoot at the beginning I tried a little bit of everything until I found my sweet spot, architecture. What helped me find out the beauty of it was @akinkhan . His instagram is what I aspire my art to be! Beautiful...

Strawberry Mango Blueberry Chia Seed Popsicles

Anybody near the west coast can tell you that we had one hell of a heat wave this past weekend so what better way to stay cool than ice cold popsicles! Added bonus... they're super healthy too! All fresh, natural ingredients but still taste like your satisfying that sweet craving. Ingredients 1 1/2 cups strawberries 1 1/2 cups mango Handful of blueberries 2 tsp chia seeds 2 1/2 cups coconut water Instructions Puree the strawberries, half of the coconut water and 1 tsp of the chia seeds in a food processor or blender. In a separate container, puree the mango, the rest of the coconut water and the remaining 1 tsp of the chia seeds (I like leaving the mango a little chunky because it's so yummy frozen). Spoon in layers of each into the molds and sprinkle in the blueberries as you go. Insert sticks and freeze for at least 3 hours. Run or dip molds in warm water to loosen the popsicles. That's it! So easy and sooooo delicious! The base recipe I used recommen...

With Oklahoma City being my home-base, I love to travel within the U.S. and Africa for work and play. Singapore beckons yearly as that's where my parents and brother are.
