What does Instagram mean to you?
What do you love/love to do?
I do brand development for a group of rum bars. I am a bit of a cocktail geek and love exploring different types of cuisine. I also love being outdoors; Sheffield is a great place to live for that as the beautiful peak district is a stone’s through away. But to be honest I love exploring the countryside and cities just the same.
What are your favorite apps and filters to edit with?
What inspires you?
I am lucky enough to be surrounded by people who do what they love and most of them do it for a living. It’s just a kind, creative energy and drive that I see in my friends and family that propels me forward I think.
What do you look for when taking a photo?
Light is always the first thing. There are certain times of day which just don’t work (for me). Bright colours always catch my eye, as do clean lines. Lately I have become a little obsessed with plant life. All the best colours and patterns are found in nature. I only use my iPhone, so I certainly don’t class myself as a photographer! It’s just my favourite hobby.
A Color Story (am guessing you have been hearing that a lot lately). But it really is the best for making the most of the colours that are already there. It has genuinely changed the way I take photographs. Also VSCO for when I edit softer or atmospheric shots.

Ok this is HARD. I have so many favourites. Here is a handful that spring to mind. I started using it to get inspiration for work, but soon found it to be the most social of social medias. I found a very fun and supportive little corner of it to occupy and I am always amazed at the huge amounts creativity I see in my news feed. I love it.
