I never take baths… Never!  But I had some muscle aches the other night and thought… what the hell, let's give it a try. Problem: this non-bath-taking-girl had no bubble bath on hand and I'm pretty sure bubbles are a must when it comes to time in the tub. Soooo, a quick google search and bam ! Homemade bubble bath in minutes. And guess what- I'M AND IDIOT! Bubble baths are amazing! Pretty sure this is happening at least once a week from now on. P.S. Living in a city that's prone to earthquakes, we're told that it's not always the best idea to hang things above the bed but I just can't resist these funky, sexy above the bed ideas. Pretty sure it's not the potential earthquakes that are keeping that spot on my wall bare... We're currently in the last stages of our living room and it's oh so sweet making those finishing touches. My heart skips a beat when I look at these inspiring spaces and it makes me just want to cuddle up with a good (dirty) book and sink in to my heart's content. Next step... the den. Anyone who knows me knows I'll use any excuse to pop a bottle of champagne. This vintage-inspired concoction has become my go to beverage for just such an occasion and it's ( almost ) as much fun to make as it is to consume. I was super excited when Crystal of Wabi Sabi asked if I wanted to add a special drink to her cocktail series ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ) and of course, this was it! Not too sweet, and just enough bubbles to make your head spin ( in a good way ). What you need... 1 sugar cube a few dashes of aromatic cocktail bitters fresh raspberries & blackberries champagne (my very, very, very favorite champagne is Francis Ford Coppola's Sofia Blanc de Blancs ) Place the sugar cube in a champagne flute Add a few dashes of the cocktail bitters (the more you add, the prettier the pink color will be) Pour champagne and add the fresh berries Hope you love it as much as I do! xo

I recently won a giveway from Rose & Anchor over at Flex Family Arts and have totally fallen in love with this shop ! My view walking to lunch on the first day of Spring. I love the ocean. It's so intimidating and wonderful. It looks like there's a chance of rain again this weekend but Ben bought himself a new (to him)  Townie 7D  so rain or shine, there will definitely be some bike riding going down. Just before the world-famous Hotel Ritz in Paris closed its doors for an unprecedented two-year renovation, Kate Moss checked in one last time for an amazing photo shoot with Tim Walker for Vogue. Guests recall their fondest memories of the beloved hotel, often the host to Paris fashion week. I've never been to the Ritz myself but these photos accompanied by the dreamy stories have definitely added it to my bucket list. One thing is for sure, you can't deny that this place is its own work of art with an equally intriguing history . xo

We shared  PART 1  of the super cute caravans from Palm Springs Modernism Week but these ones are truly one-of-a-kind. They're crazy cool and true works of art.  This completely restored caravan is truly amazing. Don't you just love the deco feel? This 1965 Airstream Safari has been transformed into a rolling editing bay designed to serve the television and film industry. Equipped with a 42" HD TV, 4G Hot Spot, Mac Mini and Apple TV, this baby is like a modern house on wheels. Look at that kitchen complete with wine fridge, coffee machine and bar! This custom Decoliner designed by Randy Grubb is crazy! The chassis is from a 1973 GMC motorhome, the engine from a 455 Olds. and the front cab is from a 1950 "White" C.O.E. tanker. And yes, you can drive it from the top! And for those of you wanting the vintage feel along with that brand new smell, have no fear.  Airstream  is still in production and these guys are still rolling off the assem...
